Read consent evidence in context

Why the before, after, and reload views belong together when reviewing consent behavior.

Begin before the interaction

The first viewport preserves what a visitor saw before scrolling or choosing a consent option. Look for the banner, visible controls, and the content around them. A screenshot shows a moment, not the whole behavior of a website.

Compare the next steps

Where the scan captures a consent journey, compare the images before the choice, after accepting or rejecting, and after reload. Read the related cookie and request observations alongside the images, rather than inferring behavior from appearance alone.

Read the capture conditions

Viewport, browser, locale, timezone, final URL, and exact capture time can affect what appeared. A partial or blocked quality result explains limitations that should inform your review.

Document what you checked

If you repeat a test manually, note the conditions and the source you checked. Keep that human review alongside the original capture so another team member can understand the conclusion.
